Riley County Police are investigating after a 41-year-old man reported this week his car was broken into and multiple items were stolen, including a firearm.
Officers filed a report for burglary to motor vehicles in the 2100 block of Praire Lea Place Wednesday afternoon. The victim reported to police that an unknown suspect stole a pistol, a knife and a machete from his vehicle, valued at $675.
A 76-year-old woman also reported her vehicle was broken into, but nothing was stolen.
