    Counterfeit bills used at Manhattan retailer

    Riley County Police are investigating after someone apparently used counterfeit bills to make a purchase at a Manhattan retailer.

    Officers filed a report for fraud and theft by deception Wednesday afternoon listing Target as the victim. Police say the unknown suspect used counterfeit bills to make a purchase. The estimated total loss is approximately $500.
