Defensive backfield’s health a question going into weekend

Having dropped it’s two road games to date this season, K-State football has another one looming this weekend at Texas Tech. Just how healthy the Cats are in the defensive backfield is a question.

Coach Chris Klieman referring to Jacob Parrish and Will Lee. Lee went down in Saturday’s loss and isn’t listed on the two-deep for this coming weekend’s contest. Parrish is listed with an “or” next to his name, meaning his status remains unclear. Justice James would start in his place if Parrish isn’t able to go.

The Big 12 announced yesterday that the following week’s contest against TCU willl also be a night game, televised by ESPN2.

It’ll be the fourth straight prime-time appearance for the Cats, with this Saturday’s tilt at Texas Tech kicking off at six, same as the TCU game a week later.
