Tuesday’s work session will see Manhattan city commissioners discuss the proposed 2027 budget and a street maintenance sales tax ballot question.
City staff members will present individual department budgets and funds, forecasts for economic development and workforce housing initiatives, a transient guest tax forecast and a summary of the mill levy analysis including the recommended flat mill rate of 54.506, the revenue neutral rate of 52.208 and the recently requested 52.800 mill rate for the city of Manhattan.
