    MHS finishes 2nd at State; best in 15 years

    The Manhattan High girls golf team finished second at the 6A State Tourney, the first top three finish for the Indians in 15 seasons.

    Manhattan ended the two day affair in Emporia 24 strokes back of first place Olathe Northwest, while holding off Shawnee Mission East by three strokes to take second.

    Freshman Maddie Myers placed 4th, with a 2-day 4-over par total of 146. Sophomore Kat Ball shot 164 over the two days, good for 14th and Lily Bahr finished with a 165 over the two days, good for 16th.
