Manhattan High volleyball has clinched a berth in the 6A State Tournament field. It made quick work of Dodge City and Wichita Northwest on Saturday, winning both matches in two sets. The Indians are the seventh seed and are in Pool 2 for the tournament to be played in Salina. They’ll open Friday afternoon against Mill Valley, then face Olathe Northwest followed by a match with Garden City. Friday’s first match is at 4:30.

The Manhattan High soccer team will open post-season play Tuesday in regionals. The Indians are the 10 seed in 6A West and will travel to Lawrence to play Free State, with the winner advancing to face either Washburn Rural or Haysville Campus on Thursday.
