Authorities are investigating a pair of Monday crimes for burglary and aggravated assault.
The Riley County Police Department says a 21-year-old man and 22-year-old woman reported an unknown suspect stole household goods and electronics from their home in the 1100 block of Claflin Road. The estimated total loss is less than $1,000. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
Later in the day, RCPD was called out to the 200 block of North 9th Street after a 25-year-old man reported a woman battered and assaulted him. Police arrested 39-year-old Dania Decoteau, of Manhattan on probable cause offenses of aggravated assault, criminal threat and battery. She remains jailed on a $10,000 bond.
