    K-State Comes Up Shy in Overtime at Texas

    AUSTIN, Texas (K-State Athletics) – In a tussle between top-25 foes on Saturday afternoon, the seventh-ranked Texas Longhorns held off a second half comeback by the 23rd-ranked K-State Wildcats for a 33-30 overtime win at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in the final Big 12 matchup between the two schools.

    K-State’s record stands at 6-3, 4-2 in the Big 12, while Texas is 8-1 and 5-1.

    A full recap of this afternoon’s game will be posted later today.

    K-State returns to Bill Snyder Family Stadium on Saturday, November 11, as the Wildcats host Baylor. A game time and network designation will be announced on Monday. For tickets, call (800) 221-CATS or visit kstatesports.com/tickets.
