    Officers filed a report of criminal deprivation of property on January 27, 2024, in the 1100 block of Thurston Street, Manhattan, Kansas at approximately 10:03 PM. Officers listed a 37-year-old male as the victim when it was reported a 38-year-old female known to him left in the victim’s 2019 green Toyota Camry. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers.  Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

    Jacob Thompson, 26, of Ogden was arrested while in the 200 block of E. 9th Street in Junction City, Kansas, on January 26, 2024, at approximately 4:09 AM. Thompson was arrested on a probable cause offense of rape. Thompson was issued a total bond of $250,000 and was confined at the time of this report.

    Corneal Johnson, 34, of Manhattan was arrested while incarcerated at the Riley County Police Department on January 26, 2024, at approximately 11:15 AM. Johnson was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. The original charges were for domestic and criminal trespass. Johnson was issued a total bond of $8,000 and was confined at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report for theft in the 2200 block of Westchester Drive in Manhattan on January 27, 2024, at approximately 7:06 AM. Officers listed a 35-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole a toolbox and welding equipment from his vehicle. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $2,000. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers.     Officers filed a report for sexual battery in Manhattan on January 27, 2024, around 9:33 AM. Officers listed a 30-year-old male as the victim and a known female as the suspect. The battery was reported to have happened in November of 2023. Due to the nature of the crime reported no additional information will be released.

    Officers filed a report for criminal discharge of a firearm report in the 200 block of Blue Earth Place in Manhattan on January 27, 2024, around 2:17 PM. Officers listed society as the victim when it was reported a known male suspect discharged his firearm one time inside a building.

    Howard Wells, 28, of Junction City, was arrested while in the 1100 block of Moro Street in Manhattan on January 28, 2024, around 1:50 AM. Wells was arrested on probable cause offenses of battery on LEO, interference with an LEO, and disorderly conduct. Wells was issued a total bond of $6,000 and was confined at the time of this report.

    Jonathon White, 32, of Manhattan, was arrested while in the 400 block of 3rd Place in Manhattan on January 28, 2024, around 2:21 AM. White was arrested on probable cause offenses of battery and interference with an LEO. Wells was issued a total bond of $5,000 and was confined at the time of this report.

    Glenn Bennett, 27, of Manhattan, was arrested while in the 400 block of 3rd Place in Manhattan on January 28, 2024, around 2:21 AM. Bennett was arrested on probable cause offense of battery. Bennett was issued a total bond of $5,000 and was confined at the time of this report.

    Sara Bennett, 28, of Manhattan, was arrested while in the 400 block of 3rd Place in Manhattan on January 28, 2024, around 2:33 AM. Bennett was arrested on probable cause offenses of battery and disorderly conduct. Bennett was issued a total bond of $5,000 and was confined at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report for domestic battery and criminal damage to property in Ogden on January 29, 2024, around 12:51 AM. Officers listed a 28-year-old female as the victim when she reported a known male suspect damaged property during a domestic altercation. The estimated total loss associated with this case is not currently listed but is expected to be over $1,000. Jaylen Fures was arrested in connection on a probable cause offense of domestic battery and criminal damage to property. Fures was issued a total bond of $4,000 and was confined at the time of this report. Due to the nature of the crime reported (domestic) no additional information will be released.

    John Martin, 43, of Manhattan, was arrested while in the 300 block of Poyntz in Manhattan on January 28, 2024, around 12:00 PM. Martin was arrested on probable cause offenses of violation of a protection order. Martin was issued a total bond of $6,000 and was not confined at the time of this report.
