The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association released their latest rankings on Tuesday that were headlined with Wamego Girls Basketball remaining at No. 2 in the 4A Girls Rankings.

While they were little changes in this week’s rankings, Junction City Boys did see a bump up by two spots from No. 9 to No. 7 in the 6A Boys rankings. Head coach Nick Perez’s team currently sits at 12-2 on the season following a 60-53 home victory on Tuesday over the defending 6A Champion and current No. 3 team in 6A in the Blue Valley Northwest Huskies.

In 4A Boys, Rock Creek remains in 7th in the rankings. The Mustangs sit at 11-1 for the season and currently lead the Mid-East League with an unbeaten 5-0 league record. The Mustangs are back on the hardwood on Friday night at Riley County.

Frankfort Girls saw a drop from No. 4 to No. 5 in 1A-Div 1 Girls despite four consecutive victories. The Frankfort Ladies sit at 11-3 for the season.
