Officers filed a report for forgery and theft by deception in the 700 block of Poyntz Ave in Manhattan on February 26, 2024, around 1:16 PM. Officers listed Flint Hills Beverage and a 38-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect fraudulently wrote and cashed checks at numerous banks in the area. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $10,000. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers.
