In what is being described as a big boost for arts and cultural preservation, Wareham Hall has secured $1 million in state funding which will help advance fundraising efforts for an extensive renovation of the historic building.
Executive director Blade Mages says this is an exciting opportunity.

Wareham Hall needs to raise $2 million in non-state or private funds for every dollar provided by the state. The renovation plans will look to provide facilities that are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, new elevators as well as advanced security systems.
Mages called on members of the community to help donate so they can provide matching funds.

Mages says with community support they’re excited to create a vibrant arts hall and make Wareham Hall a premiere destination.
