Armon Bosse Jr., of Onaga, has announced his running for the district 5 seat on the Pottawatomie County commission.
Bosse says his previous 7 years on the planning and zoning board has given him the institutional knowledge required for the county commissioner position.

Solar power is something Bosse would like to incorporate more in the Northern parts of the county.

Pottawatomie County has four seats on the upcoming primary ballot for the county commission, which is expanding from three to five seats.
District 5 has three Republican candidates, including Armon Bosse, Chuck Depew and Terry Force.
