A Manhattan man is in jail following his arrest at the Manhattan Municipal Courthouse.
59-year-old Jeffrey Tinnean was arrested on probable cause charges just before 9:30 am at the courthouse on one count of aggravated battery by recklessly causing bodily harm by trying to disfigure, harm or kill with a deadly weapon.
He was also charged with single counts of domestic battery, the second time he’s been charged with that offense in the last five years and stalking with reckless conduct causing fear to a person or family.
Tinnean remains confined in the Riley County Jail on a bond of $10,000 as of Wednesday morning.
