Evergy customers woke up early Wednesday to find themselves without power as storms moved across the area.
As of this afternoon, 3100 customers remain without power in Northeast Kansas. Manhattan was hardly affected by these outages, with under 5 customers affected by the storms. Topeka has the most customers without power with around 1900 customers still without power.
Silver Lake has around 200 customers still without power at this hour, while Onaga has nearly seen all of the power restored and Frankfort has 19 customers still without power.
Evergy is estimating that around 1.6 million customers have been served.
