    City to finalize 2025 budget on Tuesday

    Manhattan city commissioners will finalize the 2025 budget and mill levy rate Tuesday evening.

    The meeting also will serve as a public hearing for both the budget and revenue-neutral rate. Commissioners will have a second reading of the 2025 budget ordinance Sept. 17, and county clerks will certify the tax rate and 2025 budget on Oct. 1.
