The City of Manhattan announced on Wednesday the hiring of a new Director of Public Utilities for the city.
Kevin Niles, who is the current Utilities Director in Odessa, Texas, will begin his work for the city beginning on Sept. 3. Niles is set to oversee the recently reconstructed Public Utilities Department, which provides services for Manhattan and surrounding infrastructure.
