    Officers filed a report of vehicular burglary in the 2800 block of Allison Ave on August 29, 2024, at approximately 9:57 AM. Officers listed a 45-year-old woman and Chase Bank as the victims when it was reported her car was broken into while she was inside and her bank card was taken by an unknown subject.  The card was then used at Wal-Mart in Topeka. Total loss associated with this report is approximately $3,000. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

    Douglas Holen was arrested on August 30, 2024, at approximately 3:30 AM in the 1200 block of Walters Drive.  Holen was arrested on the probable cause offenses of violation of a protection order, domestic battery, and criminal trespass.  Additionally, Holen was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear.  Total bond was set at $15,500.  Holen was confined at the time of this report.
