Manhattan city commissioners will approve the second reading of the 2025 budget and tax rate ordinance at their weekly meeting Tuesday evening.
On Sept. 3, the commission narrowly approved the first reading of the budget, with the $299.6 million budget and 3.99-mill increase passing on a vote of 3-2.
Commissioners John Matta and Peter Oppelt voted against it.
