Pottawatomie County Commissioner Dee McKee continues to be under scrutiny for her reimbursement claims.
County resident Michelle Campbell told commissioners at their Monday meeting she has been looking closely at the public records concerning McKee’s reimbursement requests and questions what she is finding.
Dating back to November 2023, Campbell found a reimbursement McKee received for a KAC meeting. After looking at the KAC meeting minutes, Campbell discovered McKee was listed as absent from the meeting. Campbell also questioned a reimbursement for a laptop repair. According to Campbell’s findings, the laptop was a personal laptop and not county issued.
