    Officers filed a report of an injury accident at the intersection of Research Park Ct. and N. Manhattan Ave. on September 13, 2024, at approximately 2:23 PM.  Officers report a 2002 Chrysler Town and Country minivan operated by Barbara Ench, 75, of Manhattan, failed to yield the right of way to a 2003 Honda motorcycle, operated by Thomas Bowring, 20, of Wichita, Kansas.  Bowring was transported by EMS to Via Christi for treatment of his injuries. Ench was issued a citation.

    Officers filed a report of felony criminal damage to property in the 2200 block of Westchester Drive on September 14, 2024, at approximately 9:47 AM.  Officers listed a 24-year-old male as the victim when it was reported windows in both of his vehicles were broken out in the overnight hours for the third time by an unknown subject. Total estimated loss associated with this report is approximately $1,300. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers.     Officers filed a report of theft and criminal damage to property on September 14, 2024, at approximately 12:39 PM in 900 block of Moro. Officers report two unknown male subjects cut a hole in the fence of Waters True Value then entered the property and took two saws belonging to patrons along with other miscellaneous items. Total estimated loss associated with this report is over $1,000. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers.     Jamichael Strahan, 23, of Junction City, was arrested on September 14, 2024, at approximately 3:30 PM in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road.  Strahan was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. The original charge in this matter is for aggravated indecent solicitation of a child. Total bond was set at $25,000. Strahan was not confined at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report of an injury accident on September 15, 2024, at approximately 1:21 PM at the intersection of Pillsbury Drive and McDowell Creek Road. Officers report Cody Copeland, 23, of Manhattan, failed to yield the right of way to Corey Kirkwood, 38, of Manhattan. Copeland’s 2018 Hyundai struck Kirkwood who was operating a 2006 Yamaha motorcycle. Kirkwood was transported to Via Christi by EMS for treatment of his injuries.  Copeland was issued a citation.

    Officers filed a report of theft in the 1400 block of University Drive on September 15, 2024, at approximately 1:30 PM.  Officers listed a 25-year-old male as the victim when it was reported he handed his iPhone to a cab driver for payment and the cab driver took off with his phone. Total estimated loss associated with this report is approximately $1,075.
