Jamichael Strahan, 23, of Junction City, was arrested on September 14, 2024, at approximately 3:30 PM in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road. Strahan was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. The original charge in this matter is for aggravated indecent solicitation of a child. Officers report Cody Copeland, 23, of Manhattan, failed to yield the right of way to Corey Kirkwood, 38, of Manhattan. Copeland’s 2018 Hyundai struck Kirkwood who was operating a 2006 Yamaha motorcycle. Kirkwood was transported to Via Christi by EMS for treatment of his injuries. Copeland was issued a citation.
