    Damion Huff, 29, of Overland Park was arrested on October 29, 2024, at approximately 4:50 p.m. on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. Huff was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report for domestic battery, violation of a protection order and assault on a law enforcement officer in Manhattan on October 29, 2024, at approximately 5:22 p.m. A 43-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man were listed as the victims when she reported a 42-year-old man hit the victim, violated a protection order and assaulted a law enforcement officer.  Justin Staley, 42, was arrested for domestic battery, violation of a protection order and assault on a law enforcement officer. Staley was issued a total bond of $20,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report for attempted first degree murder and aggravated battery in the 400 block of Walters Dr in Manhattan on October 29, 2024, at approximately 10:49 p.m. This is an ongoing investigation at this time, additional details will be released when available.
