Riley County announced on Tuesday that advanced voting hours have been extended for this week.
Voting at 110 East Courthouse Plaza will now be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Thursday. County election officials believe that the extended hours will allow for more convenience as they are expecting a very large turnout on Election Day.
Meanwhile, advanced voting will continue at the Bluemont Room at the K-State Student Union from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Thursday with Tuesday being the final day to submit a mail-in ballot. Both polling places will be open on this Friday and Monday with the East Courthouse Plaza building also being open this Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.
