The Riley County Police Department works the scene of a shooting near the 900 block of Yuma Street in Manhattan late Wednesday night. One person, a 23-year-old male, was shot. He was transported by EMS to Ascension Via Christi, before then being life-flighted to Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
