Manhattan High track and field star sprinter Harli Omli announced her commitment to Texas Tech for the future of her athletic and academic career on Wednesday.

“I’m incredibly thankful to God for this opportunity and for guiding me on this journey,” Omli said in her announcement. “Big thanks to my family, coaches, teammates, and friends for all their support. Looking forward to this next chapter with the Red Raider family!”

The senior, who finished first in the 4×100, 2nd in the 200m, 2nd in the 400m, and 3rd in the 100m at 6A State track last season, also set the all-time Kansas meet record in the 200m.
