Officers filed a report of an injury accident in the 2200 block of Fort Riley Blvd. on November 6, 2024, at approximately 5:01 PM. Officers report a 2009 Honda Accord driven by Javier Rascon Ruiz, 30, of Manhattan, was eastbound when it suddenly veered left crossing traffic and struck a wall. Rascon Ruiz was transported to Ascension Via Christi by EMS for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Lendell Fleming, 23, of Junction City, was arrested on November 6, 2024, at approximately 12:05 PM in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road. Fleming was arrested on the probable cause offenses of assault and interference with an LEO. Total bond was set at $6,000. Fleming was confined at the time of this report.
Howard Amos, 20, of Springfield, Illinois, was arrested on November 6, 2024, at approximately 4:00 PM in the 1300 block of Flint Hills Place. Amos was arrested on the probable cause offenses of domestic battery, criminal damage to property, and criminal restraint. Total bond was set at $6,000. Amos was confined at the time of this report.
