Pottawatomie County has received an award from the Kansas County Association Multiline Pool (KCAMP) in the amount of $6,280.99 for meeting the requirements of the KCAMP Risk Management Award Program.

The program is designed to award members for implementing certain risk mitigating measures in the workplace. By meeting the requirements of the award program, the county improved safety in the workplace and put money back in its pocket.

Formed in 1991, KCAMP is a member funded and self-insured property and liability pool. It provides a viable alternative to commercial insurance for its 80 member counties.
