A Wamego man who ran an LSD lab out of an abandoned missile silo is set to be released from prison on Sunday after President Joe Biden commuted his sentence.

Biden announced earlier this month he was commuting the sentences of 1,500 Americans.

One of them, Clyde Apperson, 69, was charged in 2000 for running what was at the time the largest LSD lab ever discovered.
