The Junction City Police Department, working with the FBI, is asking for the public’s help to identify and locate a suspect involved in a robbery at Sunflower Bank on December 27, 2024.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:13 PM at the bank located at 510 N. Jefferson St. A White male suspect, about 6 feet tall, entered the bank, brandished a firearm, and demanded money. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, blue jeans, cowboy boots, a black mask, and a black and pink backpack. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No one was injured during the robbery. Authorities warn that the suspect is armed and dangerous.
