    RCPD investigating vehicle burglary on Ratone St.

    Riley County Police filed a report of a vehicle burglary on December 6, 2024, at approximately 7:13 AM in the 1100 block of Ratone Street in Manhattan.

    A 24-year-old Manhattan man and a 23-year-old woman from Parsons, Kansas, were listed as victims. Authorities reported that their Ford passenger vehicle was stolen along with a Remington 12-gauge shotgun and a CZ 12-gauge shotgun.

    The vehicle was later recovered, but the total loss associated with the incident is estimated at $1,050.

    Police urge anyone with information about the burglary to contact Crime Stoppers. Tips can be submitted anonymously, and individuals providing information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
