Housing and dining will cost more next year for K-State students living on campus after the Kansas Board of Regents on Wednesday unanimously approved increased rates.

The rate increase at K-State will be 2.24% for a modest double-occupancy room with limited dining options at K-State in the 2025-26 school year. The jump for a newly renovated or constructed room with unlimited dining options would be 3.52%.

The cost of a double-occupancy room with limited dining options at K-State would increase from $10,290 this school year to $10,520 in the next, a $230 difference. A newly renovated or constructed room with unlimited dining options would go up $540, from $15,360 in 2024-25 to $15,900 in 2025-26.
