On December 27, 2024, at approximately 3:43 PM, officers responded to a report of aggravated battery in the 700 block of Fort Riley Blvd. The incident stemmed from a road-rage altercation that escalated into a confrontation involving threats and weapon use.

According to the police report, three individuals—a 46-year-old male, a 20-year-old female, and an 18-year-old female—were identified as victims. The altercation reportedly involved a 60-year-old male, also listed as a victim, who claimed he was threatened harm after pointing a firearm in the direction of the other victims.

David Beck, 60, a Manhattan resident, was arrested in connection with the incident. Beck faces charges of criminal threat and two counts of aggravated assault. Authorities set his bond at $10,000, though he was not confined at the time of the report.
