(9/12) K-State used a stellar first quarter to roll to its sixth straight home win with an 86-39 victory over Central Arkansas at Bramlage Coliseum on Sunday afternoon. The 39 points were a season-low by a K-State opponent this season.

K-State (7-1) featured five players in double figures led by the tandem of Serena Sundell and Taryn Sides. Sundell carded a game-high 17 points on a 6-of-7 effort from the field and dished out seven assists. Sides came off the bench to notch a career-high 15 points on 5-of-8 shooting from long range and dish out four assists.

Ayoka Lee tallied 12 points with six rebounds and two blocks. Lee lowered the number to break the school record for career points, as she trails Kendra Wecker’s school record mark of 2,333 by 13 points.

Seniors Temira Poindexter and Jaelyn Glenn also added 10 points each, while Poindexter tallied three assists, three steals and two blocks and Glenn registered five rebounds, three assists and three steals
