Chapman woman arrested after drug raid in Dickinson County

On January 23, 2024, the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit, with assistance from the Chapman Police Department, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 2500 Block of Nicholson Road in Chapman. The operation was part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.

During the search, authorities discovered THC edible products, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and firearms. Following the investigation, Emma Gomez was arrested and booked into the Dickinson County Detention Facility. She faces multiple charges, including possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine and marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, unlawful manufacturing of controlled substances, aggravated endangering a child, and possession of drug paraphernalia within 1,000 feet of a school. Gomez is also charged with criminal possession of weapons and no drug tax stamp.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office reminds the public that all individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
