    Manhattan Parks and Rec announces fee changes effective Feb. 1

    Beginning Feb. 1 new recreation membership fees will go into effect for Manhattan Parks and Rec.

    Memberships are available for individuals or families on a month or annual plan. Family memberships will be for two adults and two children 18 years or younger living in the same household. Additional children can be added to a family membership for monthly or annual plans.

    For those who decide to not pay for an annual membership, they will receive a discount of one month free. Accounts can be set up for automatic reoccurring payments for both monthly memberships.

    For individuals not wishing to purchase the monthly membership, a $3 drop-in fee will be available daily.

    Also. for those who may need financial assistance, a new, more inclusive scholarship program has been developed. You can learn more by visiting our website at www.mhkprd.com/scholarship.
