    Recent Incidents:

    On January 25 and 26, RCPD officers responded to a variety of calls including a theft:

    • Fraud and Larceny: A fraud case was reported at Commerce Bank on Claflin Road, and a pair of larceny incidents took place at Menards on McCall Road in Manhattan, both on January 25.

    Recent Arrests:

    Several individuals were arrested by RCPD officers on charges ranging from domestic battery to criminal offenses involving weapons and impersonation:

    • Dashaun Isaac Kareem Edwards (21, Manhattan) was arrested early on January 26 for criminal use of weapons, trespassing, and violating protection orders. He remains in custody at the Riley County Jail, with no bond set at this time.
    • Amber Marie Curry (37, Manhattan) was arrested on January 25 for domestic battery following an incident in Fairmont Park. She was booked into the Riley County Jail, with a bond set at $2,000.
    • Jeremy Alexander Barker (45, Manhattan) faced multiple charges, including aggravated false impersonation, domestic battery, and aggravated kidnapping, after an arrest on January 25. His bond has been set at $150,000.
    • Dale Allen Corbin (26, Manhattan) was arrested earlier on January 25 on charges of interfering with law enforcement and attempting to flee from officers during a warrant service. His arrest was later classified as “exceptionally cleared,” and he has been released from custody.
