By KMAN Staff on February 18, 2025 Local News

A winter storm continues to affect the area today, with additional snowfall expected to range from 1 to 6 inches. The highest snowfall accumulations are anticipated south of Interstate 35, with lighter amounts near the Kansas-Nebraska state line. The storm is compounded by dangerously cold temperatures and wind chills that are expected to remain in the -10 to -20 degree range throughout the day.

Travel conditions are hazardous, and authorities are advising everyone to avoid unnecessary travel, particularly on roadways where conditions may worsen. For those who must travel, it’s essential to stay updated on weather conditions and consider altering travel plans if possible.
