Junior Noah McFadden stepped up with eight overtime points for Manhattan High boys’ basketball as the Indians fended off Topeka High with a classic 73-66 road win on Friday night.
“What a great basketball game. That’s what a high school basketball game should be,” MHS head coach Benji George said. “Kind of high scoring, fast pace, back and forth, both teams making big plays.”
The Indians (6-10) came off back-to-back losses against Washburn Rural and Emporia and trailed by double-digits, but refused to relent in a road environment. Manhattan moved to 3-3 in league play.
