K-State is getting closer to its goal for retaining freshmen.
Officials on Wednesday told the Kansas Board of Regents the university’s first-time freshman retention rate was up to 85.5% as of fall 2023. K-State’s goal for 2025 is 90% first-time freshman retention.
Its four-year graduation rate was 53.9%, surpassing the 2025 target of 50%.
