Less than 24 hours after their season coming to an end, K-State women’s basketball adds another high school recruit to its 2025 class.

Brandie Harrod, the No. 42 overall prospect according to 247 Sports, has committed to K-State. Harrod, a 6’1” forward from Putnam City North High School in Oklahoma City. She has received a four-star rating from 247 Sports, On3 and ESPN.

Harrod was originally committed to Auburn, but reopened her recruitment after head coach Johnnie Harris was fired following the SEC Tournament. During her original recruitment, she was considering K-State, Oklahoma State, Mississippi State, Clemson, Colorado, Georgia, Utah, and Florida State.

For her senior season, Harrod averaged 13.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. She also shot 47% on field goals. Leading her team to an Oklahoma High School state championship.

Harrod is the fourth high school recruit in K-State’s top 10 2025 class. Joining five-star Jordan Speiser, four-star Aniya Foy and Spanish point guard Gina Garcia Safont.
