WESTMORELAND — After closing arguments were heard Friday morning, the jury came back this afternoon with guilty verdicts for Dana Chandler, in the 2002 murders of her ex-husband, Michael Sisco, and his fiancée, Karen Harkness.
The couple were shot to death in Harkness’ home in Topeka, in the early morning hours of July 7, 2002.
The third trial for Sisco and Harkness’ deaths was held in Pottawatomie county over the past month, and now comes to a close. Upon her conviction, Chandler’s bond was revoked and she was taken into custody. A status conference is scheduled for next Thursday at 2:00 p.m.
