A Kansas State Ring of Honor inductee and an all-time great Wildcat wide receiver is now one of the top names on the NFL’s free agency list heading into the 2025 season.
On Wednesday, the Seattle Seahawks released Tyler Lockett, parting ways with the wide receiver after 10 seasons.
The Seahawks made the move as opposed to paying Lockett $17 million this season, including a $5.3 million roster bonus due March 16. Seattle’s passing game has shifted to Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who tied Lockett’s franchise record with 100 catches last season. Lockett had 100 receptions in 2020.
