Osei, from Toronto, Canada, played one season at Casper College. He averaged 11 points, seven rebounds and over one block per game. Shooting 64% from the floor without attempting a three.

Prior to college, Osei played for the FIBA U17 and U16 Canadian teams in 2022.

According to sources, Osei will redshirt the 2025-2026 season due to an injury. He will have four years of eligibility remaining.

Osei had other offers from Eastern Illinois, Incarnate Word, UTSA and FDU.

Osei follows guard Nate Johnson from Akron, Monmouth guard transfer Abdi Bashir and UNC-Wilmington big Khamari McGriff out of the transfer portal. Plus, Serbian wing Andrej Kostic from the international market and signed high school point guard Exavier Wilson from Columbia, Missouri for 2025.

He also joins returning Wildcats Taj Manning, Mobi Ikegwuruka and David Castillo. He becomes the 10th known player for the 2025-2026 roster as long as big man Tyreek Smith is able to be approved for an extra year of eligibility.
