Manhattan High boys’ golf is headed back to state as regional champions for the fourth straight season.

The Indians claimed the Class 6A regional title Monday at Topeka Country Club with a team score of 306, outpacing Lawrence-Free State (313) and Washburn Rural (316) to secure the top spot.

Manhattan was led by freshman Charlie Haney’s runner-up finish. Haney carded a 74 on the par-71 layout, just one stroke behind individual champion Henry Thompson of Lawrence-Free State.
