The City of Manhattan is preparing to fully reopen the intersection of Denison and Kimball Avenues.
The new signals were activated Monday and put into flash mode. Motorists are advised to proceed through the intersection with caution. City officials say starting with flashing lights at a newly signalized intersection is a federal requirement. It plans to go live with normal traffic operation at the intersection on Friday.
Earlier this spring, the city installed a new 287 foot truss at the seven lane intersection, the city’s largest.
