    The RCPD responded to a range of incidents over the weekend, including reports of robbery, theft, battery, and multiple disturbances.

    A robbery was reported early Sunday morning in the 900 block of N. 12th Street, while officers also responded to active fights at Tate’s and Kwik Shop in Manhattan. Reports of disorderly conduct, domestic disturbances, and thefts were filed at locations including Wingstop, Ulta Beauty, and Todd Lane Terrace Apartments.

    Seven arrests were made during the reporting period. Sarrina Mecko Reed, 43, of Wichita, was arrested twice for shoplifting and possession of tools used to remove theft detection devices, with a combined bond of $8,000. Chaquala Shayron Mathis, 26, also of Wichita, was arrested on similar charges at Dick’s Sporting Goods. Evans Darko Agyemang, 31, of Junction City, was taken into custody on a $15,000 bond for allegedly battering a law enforcement officer. Other arrests included Robert Kenneth Leeper for theft from a motor vehicle, and David Daniel DeJesus Roman for multiple failure to appear warrants totaling $3,500. Philtasha Trayveon Powell of Topeka was also arrested on a probation violation warrant​.
