On Tuesday, Abena Taylor became the latest candidate to enter the race for a seat on the Manhattan City Commission.

    “I’m a citizen, I’m a neighbor, I’m a wife, I am a teacher, I’m a dancer,” she said.

Originally from Jamaica, Taylor, 27, came to Manhattan from Florida a decade ago to attend Kansas State University.
