    Ogden woman prepares for plea deal in murder of her infant

    An Ogden woman appeared in Riley County District Court Monday, to confirm arrangements for a plea agreement in the case of her 1-year-old daughter in 2023.

    Sonya Williams, 27, is charged with first-degree murder and aggravated endangering a child.

    Williams, her attorney, Julie Effenbeck and the prosecutor Trinity Muth reached an agreement for a plea deal However, the plea agreement is dependant upon several unnamed conditions for Williams to complete and is not yet in place.
