WAMEGO, June. 22 — An Onaga woman was arrested early Sunday morning on attempted murder charges, according to a press release from Pottawatomie County Sheriff Doug Adams.
At approximately 12:35 a.m., the PTSO received a 911 call about a female run over in the 20000 block of Pauling Run Rd., rural Wamego, the release said.
Deputies responded to the location.
They determined that a female suspect, Dana Blume, 43, Onaga, had intentionally run over Kara Murray, 52, Wamego, with a vehicle following an argument. Adams said Murray sustained serious injuries and was flown by helicopter to an area hospital where she was being treated.
Blume was arrested and, at the time of publication, was confined at the Pottawatomie County Jail awaiting bond to be set on charges of attempted murder in the second degree.
PTSO deputies are continuing to investigate the case. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Young at 785-457-3353 or leave a tip on the crime stoppers link at www.ptsheriff.com.
