10 days away from Juneteenth, the anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation liberating those enslaved in the Confederacy in 1865, Mike is joined by Manhattan celebrities Betty O. and Dave Baker to talk about the significance of the holiday. Long-time residents of the area, the pair have witnessed decades of cultural impact and evolution.

Juneteenth celebrations for 2025 will take place on Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14 in Manhattan.
